This was our first time dining at this restaurant and we were very pleased. I had the veal lasagna and my wife had lamb chops with mint jelly. The service was great the food was great the ambience first-rate. We will definitely go back.

Great place for a date, or for a romantic meal, but I guess I just prefer mom and pop places for Italian. The fish entrees are all delicious, I just couldn't stomach the prices.

I'm confused on this place. On one hand the food is fabulous. On the other hand, a disconnect exists between the patron 's definition of expected service (time-wise) and the actual service delivered by servers (time-wise, not performance).I've been here 3 times: 1st time, food excellent, server great, my stay was 30-45 min longer than expected start to finish.2nd time, food excellent, server great, my stay was 45-70 min longer than expected from start to finish, because apparently the staff & cooks leave at a designated time (never mind informing any patrons) regardless if people are still seated?3rd time, food slightly less than excellent (probably because I expected grilled fish and got fried/breaded fish), my stay was 40-50 min longer than expected from start to finish.I really like this restaurant, thus my repeated visits. Just know to not be in a hurry.

Small Restaurant with exceptional service and food. Live music on piano and they take requests. Higher end on prices and well worth it. Very personal with the owner always visiting with guests. Very classy. Parking can be found down the street - always seem to get the last open parking spot.After eating here many times, I can reassure you this is a top notch place.Everything this great.Attentive wait staff. Was an amazing place! Service was great, food options were vast and incredible. Food was not only tasty, but served very well. This is one of the very rare places that serve amazing soufflé, and honestly is the best I’ve ever had and can’t find anywhere else! Serving staff was exceptional, and would go out of their way to ensure a great dining experience. Sometimes, the wait was slow but the food would always come out hot and fresh. So sad that this place was recently destroyed by a fire! Hopefully they are able to rebuild and reopen. Everyone would love for this incredible and amazing place to return! Thank you for serving the Colleyville area, Ruggeri’s!

Ok, so you're looking for an authentic dine-in Italian restaurant with amazingly high end food? This is the place hands down. I've been here about five times now, and I have not found a single item that was anything less than gourmet perfection. You feel very welcomed as you're greeted by the very knowledgeable staff. As you begin to make your way through the different courses, you become immersed with the ingredients of old Italy and the flavors are powerful. It's a phenomenal place to eat and it invites either a full family experience or just a romantic night out! You must add this place to the bucket list!

I have been eating at Ruggeri's since about 2003. In all that time they have maintained the same level of quality in both food, ambiance, and service. I could not recommend a finer restaurant.

The service was fantastic by a gentleman, Service you don't get at restaurants any more. The restaurant had an old world feel and the dishes are fantastic. A step back in time for sure. Absolutely amazing experience with my wife and child.

This place is simply amazing. For a really great Italian experience and though not cheap, very reasonable for what you get. Deifinitely order the suflee when you get there, it takes 30 minutes to prepare, both the chocolate and the raspberry are absolutely delicious. Morris Gambino, the owner, is a wonderful man and if you get the chance introduction e yourself and get to know him, he is the nicest most sincere man. Date night, with wine coffee and dessert usually runs around $80. Which is a steal for the food you get.

Owner catered to old customers. We had a reservation and he seated other customer ahead of us, and he had open table for my wife and myself. Not a nice person. We will not return.

Fantastic food, portions were perfectly sized to have a full 3 courses and not be stuffed. Excellent ambiance and the pianist played beautifully, definitely a great place for a romantic dinner!

Ruggeri's is and will be one of my all time favorite places to dine. My family has been coming here for years for special occasions when we're all in town and any time we feel like doing fine Italian the right way.. we can't say enough about the staff, ambience, menu items and overall experience. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I have been to Ruggeri's many times. The staff is always very attentive, and the owner always greets you with a smile and personally seats you at your table. The food is extraordinary! My husband has been to Italy, and he said that this is the closest he's gotten to authentic Italian food. My only critique is that is absolutely freezing every time we go in, so make sure you bring a warm sweater!

I eat regularly at this location. Most dishes that I have had or excellent, especially the veal dishes. All ingredients are very fresh, and services excellent from a professional wait staff. If you are looking for authentic Italian served in a cozy atmosphere, this is your place. Slightly off the beaten path, parking is no problem

There are a lot of good Italian restaurants in the DFW area, but this place has to be in the top ten. Everything was fixed perfectly and the service was impeccable. Sam was our waiter and he was on top of every aspect of our meal. We will go again. You have to go to Ruggeri's

Best upscale Italian Restaurant around. Food, service and atmosphere were all completely over the top! Do not miss this experience. It may seem a little pricey, but the overall experience is well worth it! Treat yourself to an Italian Food Journey. You will thank me!

This was our first time to Ruggeri’s and we were very impressed. The owner seated us. The ambiance was perfect. The service was like none I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. John was our waiter and was wonderful . There were No Screaming kids running around which was absolutely the best. We were seated next to a lovely couple that we did not know but chatted with as if we had known each other forever. The stuffed shrimp I had was delicious as was the Caprese Salad. Darrell had the lasagna and he said it was the best he has ever had even better than mine and I’m part italian. Not our waiter saw that Darrell’s glass was empty and ran over to fill it. The prices are high but you get what you pay for and it is well worth it. We will be back and I want the same table and John our waiter.

Really nice overall. Atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the food is very good. Plus, the staff is friendly and efficient.

Nice quiet atmosphere. While one could complain that the service was slow in comparison to our fast-paced culture, it was nice to just enjoy the quiet and dimly lit ombeonce while the drinks, appetizer, main course and dessert came out just when you where ready to continue to eat. If you are looking for a good place for a date or anniversary night, I recommend it.

It was an early dinner time, just after 5pm. I was seated and the server was very attentive to me. I selected a glass of Pinot Noir and ordered the Caprese salad. The server brought a nice bright sorbet as a palette cleanser between my salad and my entree. I had the veal saltimbocca. The serving size was perfect. It came with asparagus and a sliced canned peach. Never had peach with it before, but the flavors went well together. As I was eating the place was filling up. I was glad my timing worked out. I will definitely go back.

Ruggeri's is my Go-To restaurant for years now. I am never disappointed. The food is absolutely fresh, cooked perfectly and the flavor is always as expected. The restaurant has a beautiful patio and the ambiance indoors is perfect for a business meeting or special evening. I love the staff and team at Rugerri's. Anytime I need a place to go and enjoy with or without friends, Ruggeri's is at the top of my list.

We went to Ruggeris about a year ago and the food and ambiance was excellent.It was so good, that I recommended the place for a company function. Everyone loved Ruggeris as they pulled out all stops.The last time we went about 4 months ago, we came early and no one was in the restaurant. The food was only so so. The waiter was way to attentive. We were trying to speak to each other and every 5 minutes the waiter was on us. He seemed like he was eavesdropping, it was that bad. That turned us off for good.
